Qld: Police search for anonymous caller in murder case
Queensland police say an anonymous caller could shed light on the 1997 murder of a79-year-old war veteran.
The police believe a man who called Crime Stoppers on April 26, 2000, could have vitalinformation about the bashing murder of ERIC CYRIL CRUST.
Mr CRUST was found on the verandah of his Keppera home, and died as a result of multipleinjuries.
Two of his fingers were severed from his left hand.
Police say new information has rekindled their investigation and prompted them to appealfor the anonymous caller to contact them again.
