NSW: Two die in head-on collision
SYDNEY, Feb 14 AAP - Two people have died and another was in a critical condition todayfollowing a head-on collision on the NSW mid-north coast.
An ambulance spokesperson said the accident occurred at around 2.25pm (AEDT) about10km north of Bulahdelah on the Pacific Highway.
"One person died on impact and one died shortly after the ambulance arrived," he said.
While the bodies remained trapped in the wreckage, a third person with serious injurieswas taken from the car and airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle.
Another two people suffered minor injuries.
The spokesman said ambulances had responded from Bulahdelah, Tee Gardens and Taree.
